Tooltip Preview

 

Tooltip preview is available for all the postings, templates and image resources. It can be enabled via settings. By default it is made dissabled for postings and templates. Because this will reduce the performance and take up memory.

Preview size and resolution can be specified here. Setting the resolution can be useful to capture if the page is very big and want to have full page preview.

 

N.B: Becuase thubmnail creation process uses ie component, if the site doesn't have anonymous access and if it uses form authentication then preview can't be generated for postings and templates. The creation process is similar to browsing to each and every page.

Thumbnail creation for postings and templates are done using a modified version of "Capture an HTML document as an image By Rob Manderson, Jubjub". Thanks Rob, Jubjup, Nimalan and Sutha.
