When you install the Microsoft Mouse driver version 9.0 on an Elite Laptop
computer or a MidWest Micro Pentium computer, the PS/2-style Microsoft
Mouse is not detected.
When you install the Microsoft Mouse driver version 9.01 on an Elite Laptop
computer or a MidWest Micro Pentium computer, the mouse works correctly
after startup, but it later appears to time-out when you do not move it for
approximately five seconds.
According to MidWest Micro Technical Support, using the Microsoft Mouse
driver version 8.2 corrects this problem.
