LOC - a file I/O function that returns the current position within
      the file
 
Syntax
  LOC(filenumber)
    - filenumber is the number of an open file or device
    - See <DETAILS> for the differences in the meaning of the value returned
      by the LOC function for random-access files, sequential files, binary
      files, and communications devices.
